Volunteering our time to support a cause we are passionate about is something we will never regret. It enriches our life, familiarize us with our community, and connect us to people and ideas that positively impact our perspective for the rest of our lives. Helping our community is an opportunity for us to grow as a person, to better understand how we fit into the world around us.
Without volunteers, many of the services and events we enjoy in our communities would not be so readily available. Spending time helping out at local institutions or businesses brings development to our communities. Giving back to the place you call home helps to unite the community and bridge some of the social, economic, and political gaps.
Zion Astro Football Academy is passionate about giving back to society and our passion nurture a mindset of growth, development, care, support, and love among our players and for others (our communities).
Giving back is also a great way we get to know our community and its citizens. When we volunteer, we have the opportunity to meet lots of new people.
Working alongside individuals who also care about improving their surroundings allows us to broaden our network of friends. Additionally, it helps us to better understand the circumstances of other members of our community. Having a broad, open-minded perspective of the different walks of life around us helps us to be effective and empathetic citizens.
We believe that everyone needs a helping hand from time to time. As we get support from others, we also want to be a support to others. The rewards of pitching in and helping those in need can be one of the most enriching feelings in life – worth much more than money.
